Upload and translate internationalization (i18n) files to multiple target languages.

What is i18n Translation?

Internationalization (i18n) is the process of designing and developing software applications so they can be adapted to various languages and regions without engineering changes. i18n translation allows you to:

  • Translate application content - Convert user-facing text from one language to multiple target languages
  • Preserve file structure - Maintain the exact format, keys, and structure of your localization files
  • Support multiple formats - Work with JSON, YAML, PO, Properties, Strings, and XML files
  • Handle complex content - Preserve placeholders, ICU MessageFormat expressions, and HTML/XML tags
  • Scale globally - Translate to up to 50 target languages simultaneously

How It Works

  1. Upload your i18n file - Submit a file in any supported format (JSON, YAML, PO, Properties, Strings, XML)
  2. Specify target languages - Choose one or more target languages (up to 50)
  3. Job processing - The file is processed asynchronously in the background
  4. Download results - Retrieve translated files for each target language
  5. Webhook notification - Receive automatic notification when the job completes

Features

  • Structure Preservation: Original file structure, format, and encoding (UTF-8) are preserved exactly
  • Key Preservation: Translation keys are NEVER changed, renamed, reordered, or translated
  • Value Translation: Only values are translated, keys remain identical to the original
  • Placeholder Preservation: All placeholders (e.g., {name}, {count}) remain intact and syntactically valid
  • ICU MessageFormat: Plural rules, select rules, and gender rules are preserved with correct syntax
  • HTML/XML Tags: All tags are preserved exactly as they appear
  • Formatting: Line breaks, whitespace, and escape characters are respected
  • RTL Support: Right-to-left languages maintain correct text direction
  • Validation: Files pass structural validation, placeholder matching, and ICU syntax checks
